If you are new to Quicken software, then this book is worth buying, to walk you through the setup process, and introduce you to features that you might not otherwise be aware of. Keep in mind, however, that software updates come out frequently, so the book was already outdated by the time it went to print.If you are at all familiar with Quicken already, then don't waste your money; you won't learn much if anything that you don't already know.
The information is written very clearly and accurately. She can help you understand the basics (even the newest changes) and still helps with great and clear samples of all the things that can help with planning and more complicated situations. Great Help!
Have used Quicken for over 20 years and like to have a current manual on hand for reference. Have looked high and low for a newer Quicken manual and was unsuccessful. Found the manual on Amazon and did not hesitate to order. Have only skimmed the book since it arrived and appears to be a good reference book for Quicken for Windows.
Thorough, but a little too technical at times.

Excellent reference
I think this book could be better organized for searching and written in simpler English. That said, it is the best available today. I miss the old "for dummies" series.
